BRITISH HELICOPTER SERVICE

LONDON. June 1. Britain made history to-day by opening the world’s first permanent schedule passenger helicopter service. It will operate between Liverpool and Cardiff as a regular link between South Wales and the north.

The journey of about 135 miles will take an hour and 45 minutes. The fare will be £3 10s.
