WAGE INCREASE
MR NASH’S COMMENTS AT ASHBURTON A New Zealand firm which had , already given its staff a 5 per cent, wage increase, had increased its price list, which he had seen, by 10 per i cent., said Mr W. Nash at a well- [ attended meeting at Ashburton last i evening. He had also seen circulars i of companies saying that if the 5 per 1 cent, increase was made by the Arbitration Court then the prices of their goods would be increased by the same percentage.
