66 KILLED AND 27 INJURED BERLIN, May 21. Grief-stricken widows and children tc-sav mourned ’he 66 miners killed in a Ruhr coalmine exp’osion yestermore than half a mile below the surface at the industrial city of Gelsenkirchen. German officials, announcing the latest death roll, said that 27 other miners were still in hospital, some Seriously injured. Rescuers found that many of the miners had been killed instantly by the blast. Others, unable to move, had been burnt to death.
