thousands to enter ISRAEL (Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON. May 22. “A mass exodus of Jews from Iraq Has begun,” says the Tel Aviv correspondent of ‘‘The Times.” ‘’The first two aircraft bringing 175 Baghdad Jews have already arrived at Lydda airport, and 12.000 more Jews are expected to follow within a month.” It is reported, that 60.000 Jews have registered at the various emigration offices and ardent Zionists hope many toore thousands will make the “ascent to Zion” very soon. This airlift is to be the biggest of its kind in history. The Jewish community in Iraq numbers about 125,000.
