The United Press says that President Truman has offered the chairmanship of the United States Atomic Energy Commission to Mr Charles Luckman (above). Mr Luckman, who is 40, recently resigned a post worth 300,000 dollars a year as president of Lever Brothers in the United States after a disagreement on policy.
