A RANGIORA CEMETERY

Sir, —As a descendant of one of Canterbury’s pioneers now at rest in the Presbyterian cemetery in Rangiora. I heartily agree with “Ex-resident’s” letter in "The Press” this morning on the disgraceful state of the grounds. One can keep one’s own particular plots cared for. but when the general paths are so overgrown it is very difficult to get to them dry-footed. If it is lack of funds, I for one would be glad to contribute towards their upkeep.—Yours, etc., ANOTHER EX-RESIDENT. December 22, 1949.
