JUGOSLAV NOTE TO BULGARIA
REPLY TO DENUNCIATION OF PACT (Rec. 7 p.m.). LONDON. October 13. The Associated Press correspondent in Belgrade says that Jugoslavia today said that Bulgaria’s action in breaking its friendship pact with Jugoslavia, was “engineered to serve as an excuse for new unfriendly acts” against Marshal Tito’s Government. A Jugoslav Note sent to the Bulgarian Legation by Marshal Tito said that Bulgaria's “hostile acts made the pact a useless piece of paper lofig before Bulgaria did so formally.” Bulgaria's charges against Jugoslavia were “lying accusations.”
