Wilson, who has been secretary and °-L the b,an ch for 16 years, was received with regret at the monthly meeting of the Marshland Women’s Division of Federated Farmers. Mrs Dawbcr was appointed treasurer, and Mrs Steere secrexyr»ln P lace of Mrs Wilson. The sum of £5 5s was voted to the Division’s Housekeeper Fund. Competition results ; were as follows-large bloom: Mrs Wal™Ce J i T McLauchlan 2. Small bloom: I Mrs N. Treleaven 1, Mrs Deavoll 2 Cluster: Mesdames Quaid and Booker (equal) 1, Mesdames G. Watson and Treleaven (equal) 3. Eggless cake: Mrs McI Lauchlan 1, Mrs Booker 2. Tray clothMrs Robertson 1, Mrs G. Watson 2. At a social held in the Marshland Hall to celebrate the sixteenth birthday of the branch, Mrs Wilson was presented with a gift in appreciation of her many years of service to the branch. The prizes won during the year for most points in flowers, cooking, and needlework were presented to Mesdames McLauchlan, J. Robertson, N. Treleaven, G. Watson, and Lawson.
