The Egmont Racing Club will open its two-day winter meeting at Hswera tomorrow when the feature event will be the Egmont Steeplechase in which Master Meruit, the top-weight, will not fulfil his engagement. Second division: Guerdon, Village. 12.30 p.m.—Hawera Handicap: Atomic. Sir Royal, The Pagan. 1.15 p.m.—Patea Hack Handicap: First division: Sweet Revenge, Graeme’s Joy, Second division: Lackagh. Foveran. 2 p.m.—Egmont Steeplechase: Gay Rouen. Old Joe, Rondelle. 2.45 p.m.—Juvenile Handicap : First division: Kainga, Infinity. Second division: Warspite, Lakeside. 3.30 p.m.—Mcßae Handicap: Knight Templar, Second Seal. Loyal Bian. 4.15 p.m.—Tawhiti Hack Handicap: Dallas, Phanion, Sandalwood.
