ANNUAL TRIALS CONTINUE The second day of the Cheviot Collie Club’s annual dog trials was continued in foggy weather yesterday. Class one, head, pull, and hold in the ring, was finished, and a start was made with class two, head, pull, and yarding. Results were:— Open: R. M. Wilson’s Moss (96 J points) 1, T. Brankin’s Boy (95) 2, M. B. Leslie’s Don (9.) 3. Maiden event run in conjunction: E. G. Rutherford’s Speed (93) 1, Mrs E. G. Rutherford’s Sue (88) 2, R. Smith’s Bruce (87J) 3. District event run in conjunction: E. G. Rutherford’s Speed (93) 1, Mrs E. G. Rutherford’s Sue (88) 2, J. E. Ensor’s Cash (87) 3. District maiden event: E. G. Rutherford’s Speed (98) 1, Mrs E. G. Rutherford’s Sue (88) 2, J. E. Ensor’s Cash (87) 3.
