CANTERBURY SENIOR ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIPS.—SeveraI new records were established and others equalled when the Canterbury senior athletic championships were held at Lancaster Park on Saturday. (1) J. Sutherland (Technical) winning the 440 yards in the record time of 49.7sec. (2) D. Dephoff (Technical) establishing a new record in the long jump. He jumped 22ft 9½in. (3) B.
