FAKIR OF IPI AGAIN ACTIVE

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE BOMBS TRIBESMEN KARACHI, February 20. The Fakir of Ipi, the North-west Frontier tribal leader who caused trouble during the British administration, has resumed activities against Pakistan on the Afghan-Pakistan frontier, says the correspondent of the Associated Press. The Pakistan Air Force bombed about 800 tribesmen who attacked a fort. The attackers were said to have been the Fakir’s followers. Officials in Karachi attribute this renewal of operations by the tribesmen to the cease fire in Kashmir, from which a large number of tribesmen returned recently under the truce arranged by the United Nations.
