THE LAST OF HITLER’S CHANCELLERY.—The war-damaged former Reich Chancellery in Berlin being demolished by explosives recently after the building had been condemned as unsafe. The explosion shown brought down the front walls and the balcony from which Hitler made many of his world-shaking speeches. The demolition was watched by about 30 Berliners, standing silently In the Wilhelmplatz, where crowds of 10,000 Nazis once stood to acclaim the Fuehrer.
