OBITUARY
MR L. R. FENTON Mr Leonard Russell Benton, whose occurred recently, was a wellknown citizen of Lyttelton, and was a sop of Mr Richard Fenton, of Timaru, formerly of Lyttelton. Fenton took an active part in affairs, where he was employed oy s shipping firm. He was secretary of the Lyttelton Bowling Club and was of the Lyttelton winch ne was also elected premaent on the occasion of the club’s 1 ? 38 He was a member of JOe Canterbury Kilwinning Masonic Lodge, also of the Albert Edward Koval Arch Chanter. le survived by his wife, also a •“ter, Mrs R.
