ESTUARY FISH
Sir, —Could you. tell me if fish caught in the estuary waters, 1 on the w&y to Sumner, would be contaminated by sewerage discharge? Would .there be any danger of infection by eating fish caught in these Waters?—Yours, etc., DOUBTFUL. September 22, 1948. [Fish caught in the estuary are safe to eat, provided they are cooked, says the Medical Officer of Health, Dr. J. H. Elakelock.]
