SHEEP COMMISSION’S INTERIM REPORT
The commission had recommended that a special technical committee be appointed to examine in detail the possibilities of increasing the supplies of manure and, if possible, of locating additional works throughout the Dominion to reduce the present high costs of transport from works to farm, said Mr L. C. Gardiner, a member of the Sheep Industry Commission, yesterday. Mr Gardiner said that there was apparently an error in the Press Association report of the commission’s interim report. The message said that the committee should be appointed to examine the possibilities of increasing the price of manure.
