TRIAL EXAMINATIONS FOR ACCOUNTANTS
Most of the members of the Christchurch Accountant Students’ Society are keen to enter for the trial examinations held by the New Zealand Accountant Students’ Federation. Some entries have already been received by the secretary of the local society (Mr A. Stewart Hill) for examinations which will not be held until September. These trial examinations give the student an idea of what he can expect in the end of year examinations for accountancy and bachelor of commerce. This is the first year in which the federation has been responsible for the setting and marking of papers. Formerly the examinations were held by each local society.
