CONTROL OF RUHR MINES
BRITISH AMERICAN PLAN UNCHANGED VIEWS OF FRANCE AND LOW COUNTRIES (Rec. 10 pm.) LONDON, Oct 3. “Britain intends going alread with the British-American plan for control and management of the Ruhr mines as agreed at Washington in September,” says the diplomatic correspondend of “The Times.” “The experts who framed the plan agreed that responsibility for coal production in the Ruhr should be transferred to German hands through the establishment Of a German Corti management authority which would be responsible to a joint British-American control group. ‘‘Britain has nOW received the viewrt of France, Belgium, the Netherlands, anti Luxembourg, who Were invited to give their views. All four showed concern about the danger of too much centralised power getting into German hands.”
