It is announced that Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands (above) is temporarily laying down Royal power because of her health. Crown Princess Juliana will act as Princess Regent. The Queen wishes it to be known that there is no reason for anxiety about her health, but the pressure of State affairs has made complete rest essential.—The Hague. October 3.
