PARLIAMENT TO BE. ESTABLISHED

ECONOMIC TIES WITH FRANCE (Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 3. The Paris correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that elections for sn assembly of 50 members for the Saar will take place on Monday. “The new body’s first task,” he adds, “will be to adopt the draft constitution prepared by the committee which the French occupation authorities set up in May. It will then become the Saar Parliament., end will elect a Min-ister-President, who will choose I,is Ministers. “The constitution is opposed only by the Communists. It provides that the atea shall be autonomous but attached economically to France, who Vill take over the protection of the Saarlanders and ensure that the new Parliament’s laws conform with France’s special interests.”
