FRENCH BREAD RATION
RUMOURS OF CUT DENIED
(Rec. 7 p.m.) PARIS, September 29. It is officially announced that because of good late-summer harvests and increased imports, France will maintain the br<ead ration at 7oz a day, and by January 1 will have built up a reserve of 295,000 tons of wheat. The communique was issued to deny rumours that the bread'ration was to be cut before next January.
