Governor’s Bay-Allandale.—Mrs L. Dimes presided at the September meeting of the Governor’s Bay-Allandale Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, held at Mrs Roskilley’s home. The roll call was “Uses for newspaper,’’ and competitions resulted as follows:—bowl of spring flowers: Mrs Wynn-YOrke 1. Mrs Lambourne 2, Mrs Buckten 3. Something new from something old: Mrs Edlin 1, Mrs Lambourne 2. Jar of preserved fruit: Mrs Roskilling 1, Mrs Ford 2.
