Death of British Swimming Champion.—Nancy Riach, 19-year-old British swimming champion, died tb-day of infantile paralysis, at Monte Carlo, where she had been competing in the European swimming championships. Her parents, who live at Motherwell, Scotland, left for Monte Carlo by air early this morning, but arrived after her death.—Monte Carlo, September 15.
