ST. ANDREW’S COLLEGE OLD BOYS
Members of the association now numbered 1100, more than half of whom had served in the recent war, said the president of the St. Andrew’s College Old Boys’ Association (Mr R. B. Hamilton) in his report; to the annual meeting of the association last evening. The meeting was attended by nearly 100 old boys. Mr Hamilton said that 59 old boys nad given their lives in the war. The fund for the old boys’ memorial now amounted to £6OOO, about one-third of She objective. It is proposed to build a memorial hall in the college grounds. The following officers were elected: patron. Mr L. W. Stewart; president, Mr M. B. Tweedi£; vice-presidents, Messrs D C. Wilson and W. K. L. Dougall; secretary-treasurer, Mr G. A. M. Hilson; committee, Messrs F. A. Bull, B. H. Cavell, H. G. Hay, R. B. Hamilton, R. D. Minson, W. D. Redpath, R. B. Shand, P. Williamson, and T Wilson; honorary solicitor, Mr W. G. P. Cuningham; honorary auditor, Mr D. T. Ager.
