COMPETITION FOR GOOD LINES OFFERING OF 15,410 BALES (PA.) AUCKLAND, June 11. The sixth Auckland wool sale was held to-day, when 15.207 bales of new seasons greasy wool, 189 bales of new season s slipe, and 14 bales of new season s scoured wools were offered. Of the total clearance, about 90 per cent, was taken by buyers, the rest being taken over by the New Zealand Wool Disposal Commission at floor reserves. The Auckland Woolbrokers Association s official report states:—“The offering of new season’s greasy wool consisted of fleece wool together with a large percentage of lambs’ wool, bellies, pieces, and crutchings. The fleece wool offered at this sale was not up to the standard of Previous sales. Any fine, bright, and wellskirted lines met with keen competition at late rates. Competition was limited for inferior and unskirted wools, with prices firm on ’floor reserve’ values.
