BRITISH ATOMIC RESEARCH

WAR TIME REPORTS TO BE RELEASED

(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON,--March 30. “The secrets of Britains’ atom research will be released to scientists of all nations to-morrow,” says the “Daily Express.” ‘The records section of the Department of Atomic Energy will make available 72 war-time reports giving details of the separation of uranium 235 explosive from harmless metal, and the method of detonation. The reports will also give the ‘critical size’—the size of a ball of uranium 235 needed to produce an automatic explosion.”
