RIFLE SHOOTING
SYDENHAM V. ASHBURTON A team from the Sydenham Defence Rifle Club fired a match against a team from the Ashburton Club on Saturday at Ashburton, thg- conditions being seven shots at 300. 500, and 600 yards. Conditions were good, and some high scores were registered, C. Thom, of the Sydenham Club, scoring the possible of 105 over the three ranges. The Ashburton team won by 21 points.
