For Waltham, G. Gearry took five for 40 and F Anderson five for 58. Railway 152 and 185 (R. Mitchell 92) beat Matchless 146 and 145 for three (N. Smyth 55, L. Gordon 52 not out) by six runs on the first innings. For Railway, R. Mitchell took six for 53, and for Matchless R. Norton took four for 34. Junior B Waltham 164 and 102 for four wickets declared (Coles 30 not out, Duncroft 35) beat Templeton 130 and 64 for six wickets (Rowe 43) by 34 runs on the first innings. Bowling for Waltham, Weir took five for 36.

St. Michael’s 82 (Thompson 26) and 172 (Spiers 50, Maxwell 55, Martin 27) beat Hillsborough 55 (Hands 29) and 62 for four wickets (A. Nuttridge 34) by 27 runs on the first innings. Bowling for St. Michael’s, Billcliff took seven for 22, and for Hillsborough A. .Nuttridge took five for 45 and J. Nuttridge three for 26:
