DRIVE FOR FOOD PARCELS
PLAN OF COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS (P.A.) AUCKLAND. March 8. A concerted move to raise at least £lOOO throughout New Zealand to send more parcels of food to Britain will be made by commercial travellers. according to a decision made at the annual conference of the United Commercial Travellers’ and Warehousemen’s Association held in Auckland yesterday. The following officers were elected: —patron, the Governor-General (Lieu-tenant-General Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C.); president. Mr C. O. Mathias (Otago); honorary treasurer. Mr H. H. Wauchon: auditor, Mr H. Bicknell; board of management of accident and sickness insurance department (third representative). Mr S. A. Orchard; associate member, Mr A. E. Romerill; member of board of trustees of central mortuary benefit fund. Mr G. E. Kin"
