INDIAN JOURNALIST’S COMMENT LOSS OF MARKET FOR EXPORTS (Rec. 8 p.m.) CANBERRA, Jan. 13. Australians were threatening their own living standards, said Sir Srinivasa Sarma, an Indian journalist who is accompanying the Indian trade delegation to Australia. Industrial disputes meant that there were not the exportable surpluses essential for the maintenance of those standards, he said. To retain her Indian market, which was a natural outlet for Australian products, Australia should earmark about 10 per cent, of her industrial output for Indian export. Because of the cessation of Australian exports, countries such as Belgium and Holland had been able to reopen shops in India which had been closed previously because of Australian competition. I
