Semple) to a deputation from aquatic clubs and residents of Sumner, Redcliffs, and Mount Pleasant. The Minister was informed that the silting of the Estuary was affecting the channels and conditions higher up the Avon and Heathcote rivers. TTie Minister said the matter was really one for the Marine Department, but that he would obtain a report. He was told by Mr T H.
