STOP-WORK MEETINGS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 3.. A stop-work meeting of printing and related trades employees of the “Evening Post” was held in Wellington at 11.30 this morning. The men returned to work at 2.30 p.m. The “Evening Post" appeared . tonight carrying the following announcement: "We regret that, owing to a stop-work meeting of newspaper members of the Typographical union called without warning .to follow the lunch hour, we have to print to-day’s paper With part of the news and advertisements omitted. A similar meeting is being held in Auckland."
