♦ DUNEDIN WINS TRAMWAY TOURNAMENT i (p -A-> DUNEDIN, Feb. 14. . The tramways cricket tournament rei suited in victory for the Dunedin repre- ’ sentatives who, by defeating Auckland in : the third game, won the right to hold the i Laughlin Cup. Points were: Dunedin 11, ■ Wellington 9. Auckland 5, Christchurch 5. Christchurch was the previous holder. In the final games, Otago beat Auckland by 116 runs to 103. Hollander 47 and Paterson 23 were top-scorers for Otago. Heatherington 30 and Hook were the most successful for Auckland. In the Christchurch-Wellington match, Christchurch declared with seven wickets down for 270 (Roulston 59, Davis not out 143, Wilkie 21). Wellington lost three wickets for 71 (Elliot not out 38), and the match was drawn.
