MRS FANNY SELWYN, of 38 Stratford street, Fendalton, who recently celebrated her ninety-fifth birthday. She was born in England and has been a resident of Christchurch for more than 70 years. Ten of her 11 children are still living. Mrs Selwyn has 40 grandchildren and 43 greatgrandchildren.
