EMPIRE CONFERENCE PROPOSED
CANBERRA, Feb. 8. Mr Attlee has asked the Dominions’ Prime Ministers their opinion on an early Empire co-ordination conference on a Prime Ministerial level. He proposes a preliminary conference at which many difficult problems could be straightened out. The Prime Minister (Mr Chifley) has not yet considered the question of Australian representation.
