TIGER AND BUFFALO DROP IN

PANDEMONIUM AT TEA PARTY LONDON. February 8. “When a man-eating Bengal tiger and a wild buffalo dropped in on a tea party at Margarita, in Assam, pandemonium broke loose,” says Reuter’s correspondent in that town. “The tiger killed seven people and injured five. “A fierce battle then developed between the buffalo and the tiger. While the animals roared and struggled a large crowd gathered in the treetops and witnessed the fight. The buffalo finally gored the tiger to death.”
