SCHOOL INSPECTORS’ APPOINTMENTS
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, January 7. A number of appointments of school inspectors in the Auckland district are announced. Mr H. McChesney, senior inspector of schools for the Auckland district, whose retirement after 45 years’ service, takes effect from the end of March, will be succeeded bv Mr A. R. Merrington, at present senior inspector of schools at New
Plymouth. Two Auckland mspectors are being transferred on promotion. Mr A. H. Denne has been appointed senior inspector at Napier and Mr H. G. Johnston is to become senior inspector at Wanganui
