COMPANY NEWS Felt and Textiles of Australia, Ltd.— The directors have decided to pay a dividend on ordinary shares for the halfyear ended June 30, 1944, at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum, the dividend being payable on October 1, 1944. The halfyearly dividend of 6 per cent, on first preference shares will also be payable on October 1, 1944. MINING Associated Gold Dredges (N.Z.), Ltd).— For the week ended September 23 the company’s dredges recovered 247 i ounces from 68,272 yards in 3471 dredging hours.
