AN R.S.A. RECORD

Sir, —A paragraph in your issue of to-day’s date stating that Mr A. L. Er lerson has the honour of being the first member of the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association to have a son also a member is not in accordance with facts. Both my father (a Boer War and last war veteran) and myself (1915-18) are members of years standing, so the claim above stated is a long way behind. —Yours, etc., F. W. HUGHES. February 23, 1943.
