The annual conference of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand was held at Wellington, Mr G. B. Osmond (president) presided. The following officers were elected : President. Mr G. S. Boyes (Hamilton); vice-presidents, Messrs P. W. Stabb (Dunedin) and H. B. Harper (Auckland); councillors, Messrs G. B. Osmond, R. S. Newcomb. F. Wade (Auckland), G. J. Leech, N. H. McCrostie (Canterbury-West-land), F. C. Wilkinson (Hawke’s Bay), E. W. Win (Nelson), J. A. Mac Donald (Otago), G. Crawshaw (Poverty Bay), T. Doyle (South Canterbury), D. M. Scandrett (Southland), A, Evans (Taranaki), A. N. de L. Willis (Waikato). T. G. Hackshaw (Wanganui), R. A. Large. J. G. Harcourt, L. A. McAlister, and N. E. Gifford (Wellington). It was decided that the present examination test should continue to be a necessary qualification for admission to the Institute.
