FOUR EVENTS AT ASHBURTON A programme of four events, three ol which will carry a stake of £l5O each, and another of £250. has been arranged by the Ashburton Trotting Club for the Ashburton (atriotic trotting meeting, to be held on October 3. All races will be of one mile and a half. The stake money has been given by the Ashburton, New Brighton, and Metropolitan Trotting Clubs and the Ashburton Racing Club.
