* SEARCH FOR CLIMBERS ABANDONED (0.R.) TIMARU, September 14. The search for A. D. Jackson and F. Tozer, Timaru residents who are missing on a climbing trip in the Cass Valley, has been abandoned. No further traces of the missing men were found, and members of the South Canterbury Alpine Club, who have been participating in the search, are return- ; Ing to Timaru.
