STAVANGER HEAVILY FINED

1 REPRISAL FOR ACTION OF CHILDREN STOCKHOLM. March 13. The Germans have imposed a fine of about £330.000 on Stavanger. This is the heaviest fine ever imposed in Norway. The fine was inflicted after it was found that school children had damaged the electric light installations in several schools. Strong German reinforcements recently arrived in Stavanger, and the troops have mostly been billeted in schools.
