BACTERIOLOGICAL WARFARE
0 PLANS FOR USE BY ENEMY (Received January 13, 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON. January 12. In a nation-wide speech at a conference of mayors, Dr. Thomas Farran, United States Surgeon-General, gave a warning to-day that the enemy has planned to use bacteriological warfare, which can be as deadly as mustard gas or explosives, and he urged immediate precautionary measures.
