Results; — Under 16.1—Christchurch Technical 200 (Cox 112) for seven wickets drew with Christ’s College A, 83 for five wickets. High School 119 drew with Papanui Technical 54 for five wickets. Under 16.2—St. Andrew’s 124 (MacGrigor 53) beat Christchurch West 27 and 96 for four wickets by 97 runs on the first innings; MacGregor, seven for 31, bowled well for St. Andrew’s. St. Bede’s 119 (Silcock 63) beat Christ’s College 43 by 76 runs on the first innings; Debenham, five for 11, bowled well for St. Bede’s. Under 16.3—High School 230 (Castle 100, McGavock 56) beat Cathedral Grammar 56 by 174 runs on the first innings; McGavock, ejght for 29, bowled well for High School. Christ’s College 190 (Hale 86) beat New Brighton 138 (Stringer 41. Johnston 41) by 52 runs on the first innings; Stringer, seven for 62, bowled well for New Brighton.
