Results; — Under 16.1—Christchurch Technical 200 (Cox 112) for seven wickets drew with Christ’s College A, 83 for five wickets. High School 119 drew with Papanui Technical 54 for five wickets. St. Bede’s 119 (Silcock 63) beat Christ’s College 43 by 76 runs on the first innings; Debenham, five for 11, bowled well for St. Bede’s. Under 16.3—High School 230 (Castle 100, McGavock 56) beat Cathedral Grammar 56 by 174 runs on the first innings; McGavock, ejght for 29, bowled well for High School. St. Bede's 115 (Walsh 45) beat Technical Hostel 64 by 51 runs on the first innings. Under 15.4—Christ’s College A 63 beat Christ’s College B 64 by 19 runs on the first innings. High School 139 beat St. Bede’s B 75 by 64 runs on the first innings. St. Bede’s A defaulted to Merlvale. Under 14.1 —Christchurch Technical 167 (Hay 62) beat St. Bede’s 24 and 89 (Garlick 60) for three wickets by 143 runs on the first innings; Carston, six for 8, bowled well for Technical. High School 174 (Roberts 40) for eight wickets drew with Christchurch West 80 for six wickets. St. Andrew's 80 and 90 for three wickets beat Christ’s College 49 by 31 runs on the first Innings. Under 14.2—High School 93 beat Christ’s College 27 by C 6 runs on the first innings; Hern, seven for 6, bowled well for High School. Addington Convent 108 (Wilson 40) beat St. Bede's 50 and 46 for four wickets by 58 runs on the first innings. Medbury 175 (Gorton 56) beat Marist Brothers 53 by 122 runs on the first Innings. Marist Brothers 52 and 89 for five wickets beat Addington Convent 74 and 40 by 27 runs. Under 14.3 —Christchurch Technical, 151 (Lang 110), beat St. Andrew’s, 101 and 96 for nine, by 50 runs on the first innings. Christchurch West, 130 (Hall 41, Pearce 40), beat Christ’s College, 71, by 59 runs on the first innings. Under 14.4—Albion, 116 (Flynn 48). beat Cathedral Grammar A, 31 and 53, by an innings and 32 runs. St. Bede’s, 117, beat Cathedral Grammar B, 87, by 30 runs on the first innings. Bede's), Wethey and Penfold (St. Andrew’s), Carston will be captain and Marks wicketkeeper. B Team—Roberts (St. Bede’s), Greenwood, Douglas (Christ’s College), Allsop, White (West), Keys,. Clephane (Boys’ High School), Johnson, Wilson, Familton (St. Andrew’s). Sherratt (Marist), and O’Malley (Technical), Roberts will be captain and O'Malley wicket-keeper. C Team—Stuart, Costagan, Wilson (Addington), O’Malley, Commons (Marist), Lang (Technical), Hearn, Mintrom (School), James (West), Shaw (St. Bede’s), Gorton and Coull (Medbury). O’Malley will be captain and Stuart wicket-keeper.
