U.S. SUBMARINE OVERDUE

LONDON, June 20. A United States submarine is seven hours overdue off the icoast of New Hampshire. She had a crew of two officers and 39 ratings. When last seen she was operating 15 miles off the coast, where the water was 650 feet deep. The point where the submarine is believed to be lost is hear the spot where the Squalus sank in 1939, . All steps possible are being taken to locate the vessel and bring it to the surface, A rescue ship and several other vessels are reported to have reached the spot where the submarine was last seen. The submarine was an old vessel launched in June, 1918.
