WOMEN’S WAR AUXILIARY

♦ COMMITTEE TO BE FORMED IN RANGIORA Members of the Christchurch district committee of the Women’s War Services Auxiliary will address a meeting of women and girls to be held at Rangiora on March 3 at 2.30 p.m. All women and girls in the district have been invited to attend this meeting to hear what is being done by the women of Canterbury to help win the war. Immediately after the public meeting, a meeting of delegates from women's organisations will be held for the purpose of appointing a local district committee of the auxiliary. The Rangiora district committee will consist of nine members, as follows: Rangiora 3, Kaiapoi 2, Oxford 1, Amberley I, Waikari-Hawarden I. If more than that number should be nominated an election will be held at the meeting.
