PATRIOTIC CONCERT AT THEATRE ROYAL

♦ The patriotic concert which, was given in the Theatre Royal on Sunday evening by the Drayton-Jones concert party and soldier artists from Burnham military camp attracted a very big audience. An excellent programme of varied items was well received, and during the interval in the performance Mr J/K. Moloney expressed thanks to the performers on behalf of the Union Jack Club, The programme included songs by Quartermaster - Sergeant Pryde, Trooper Stevenson, Lieutenant Walmsley, and Sergeant-Major Griffiths; duets by Lieutenant Walmsley and Ihe Anderson brothers; comet solo, Quartermaster-Sergeant Pryde. and Trooper Humphries: tan dance, Miss June Wootton; dance, Miss Olga Purves; tap duo. Miss June Wootton and Master M. Winterbourne; humorous item, Mr Happi Hill; recitation, Miss Mary McDonnell; and items by •he Drayton-Jones quarlelte and choir, and the Burnham dance band.
