The Foreign Secretary (Lord Halifax) has informed the Soviet Ambassador: (M.» Maisky) that the British Government has considered his suggestion for trade talks, and was prepared to discuss whether there was • a basis for an agreement which would take into account the war situation. A Moscow report says that the Tass Agency announced that the Soviet has agreed to Jugoslavia’s proposal to begin trade treaty negotiations. A Jugoslav delegation will shortly go to Moscow for this purpose. . ■ ■
