v fFrbm Our Own Reporter.! WESTPORT, December 14. Charged with, a serious offence against a girl over the age of 12 and. under 16, before Messrs H. C. Hawes and R. G. Tunniclifle, Justices of the Peace, at Karamea to-day, William Walsh McCarthy, labourer, single, aged 51, of Karamea, was- committed for sentence at The Supreme Court, Christchurch, bn December 19. Bail was allowed on one surety of £IOO and self at £IOO. - . ■
